Porcelain Lamina

It is a smile design method obtained by gluing. Since this method is applied only to the front surface of the tooth, tooth integrity is preserved and therefore it is a minimally invasive method.

In what cases is Porcelain Lamina applied?

  • If you are not happy with the shape of your teeth
  • If you have spaced/sparse teeth
  • If there is a bruise or fracture,
  • If there are asymmetrical thread dimensions
  • If a natural result is desired without losing too much substance
  • If you are not happy with your tooth color

After your intraoral measurements are taken with our 3D digital scanning device, various analyzes and calculations are made to create a completely personalized smile design. In this smile design, porcelain laminates are shaped by taking into account all facial proportions of the person, lips, midline of the face, smile structure, jaw structure, shape of the teeth, patient expectations and all other factors. Leaf porcelains, which are completely individually designed and produced, are placed on tooth surfaces with various bonding methods and superior aesthetic results are achieved.

If there is crooked teeth, the teeth must first be aligned with orthodontic treatment. It is not possible to apply porcelain laminate in cases of severe crowding. However, after the teeth are aligned with transparent plaque treatments, if the person is not satisfied with the tooth structures/shapes, leaf porcelain application can be easily performed.

In such cases, we perform general examinations in our clinic with our expert physician staff in a multidisciplinary manner and determine the needs precisely according to patient expectations.

If there is a malocclusion of the teeth, orthodontic treatment must be performed. In order to avoid joint problems in the future and to normalize all functions, orthodontic treatment is first performed, and then, depending on the person's wishes, if he is not satisfied with the shape and structure of his teeth, porcelain laminate can be applied at the end of the treatment.
